I'm  glad to say Joanne and Baby Heidi ( Or as I call her Boo ) are doing great, And coming along just fine, Big sister Stephanie is already like her Mother, feeding and looking over her, She is a natural, And I'm so proud of her, Plus Big Brother Kailum is so protective and caring they both are making sure Heidi settles in just fine. The two of them are a great help to me and Jo and a credit to us as parents, Heidi is nearly 14 weeks old and already she has two teeth coming through plus she is so, so alert. I am pleased that in every way possible she is in the Health visitors words" advanced ". . . . . And in our words,

                                " PERFECT "

" I now know that after three children. "

" Love at first sight does exist "

We both would like to thank the band Searchin` and all the crew for the gifts and monies received plus the patience in getting Andy ( Me ) Back. As many of you are aware one child let alone three do take up most if not all of your spare time !.

Please folks, If you haven't caught a live gig from Searchin` Do get yourself down to our next venue. And please Don't tell anyone ! Tell Everyone !!

Monday 13th April

MORLEY GRABS LATE WINNER

Unbelievable Jeff, Searchin' on the road at Cockerham Country Park on a sunny Easter Sunday showed us they are not just  a talented band but also able to show us a trick or two on the footy pitch. With half an hour to kill before the first set we took to a small patch of grass perched on the edge of the beach. The match was between the two Steves', Andy and Pete v Mike, Allan, Jen and me. The tackles flew in especially from Jen 'the hatchett' who man to man marked both Ste's and done a great job. Andy and Pete tried to put us off by going topless (surely a yellow card?) and we went 3-1 down before making a late comeback bringing the game level. Mike and Allan linked up well and we were looking good to snatch the winner. "Next goal the winner" and it was Ste Morley who was in an offside position but was not viewed as being active (ha ha) who scored the winner to end this fine spectacle of football. Steve is a doubt for the next game after receiving a cut to the bridge of his nose after being violently hit -by the ball! while the rest are still recovering from exhaustion.

Sunday 5th April

Searchers and Searchin' at the Phil

Never meet your heroes they say, don't know why though the ones I've met have all been OK. This was a meeting of the Searchers and tribute band Searchin'. I am pleased to say that the Searchers were really good about the lads and duly posed for photo's and chatted for a few minutes in between signing stuff for the audience at the Philharmonic Hall in Liverpool. We had just watched The Searchers as part of the solid 60s show along with Merseybeats, Wayne Fontana, The Dakotas and John Walker. It was a great show with all the hits and more. The Searchers played well known Searchin' songs (ha ha) Sweets For My Sweet, Love Potion, Sugar and Spice, Take Me For What I'm Worth and Walk In The Room. There were others and a few covers too and we all enjoyed the night. I Was waiting for I Saw Her Standing There, but I'd never have made it down the stairs to the stage  in time anyway.

Keep Searchin'
